Contractor & Site-Interface Management — Arabic (RTL)

The operational need

This is the bilingual build of the Contractor & Site-Interface Management application. It connects the same operational objects — organisations, contracts, personnel, competencies, inductions, insurances, equipment, work scopes, site access, permits, shared work areas and demobilisation — and adds an in-application language toggle for Arabic-speaking sites.

The application provides a developed operational starting point rather than a universal procedure. It demonstrates the core structure and workflow while leaving room for organisation-specific validation.

Bilingual interface

A language toggle in the title bar switches the entire interface between English and Arabic. It opens in English by default; selecting Arabic re-renders the layout, navigation and controls right-to-left. The underlying governed workflow is identical in both languages.

Most user-facing text in a DSLCore application is externalised as data — display names, field labels, menu entries and descriptions live in the app’s configuration rather than in code — so translating an application is largely a matter of translating that data against a shared domain glossary and translation memory, complemented by a bounded catalogue of framework interface strings.

Typical tailoring

Organisation terminology, roles and responsibilities, workflow states, approval rules, reporting, evidence requirements, integrations and existing data — plus the Arabic glossary and terminology choices appropriate to the organisation.

System boundaries

Where specialist systems already perform engineering, telemetry, financial or analytical functions, they can remain in place. DSLCore is intended to hold the governed operational layer around them: workflow, decisions, approvals, actions, evidence and reporting.
